Jenni Woods is an interior designer, visual creative and educator with a long career in the creative industries. Establishing and running a successful building business, with her partner for over 30 years, Jenni has been immersed in all facets of the built environment. During this period she has also worked with interior design studios and headed her own Interior Design practice offering design/build services for a range of residential and commercial clients for over 15 years.
Completing her interior design studies at RMIT, Jenni has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning at Swinburne University. Over the course of 8 years teaching interior design at RMIT Jenni was awarded two Teaching Awards, the SIDA Scholarship and VDC Fellowship, as well as leading two Study Tours to New York in collaboration with FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology). Joining Collarts in 2017 she has been active in the VET and Higher Education programs, currently supporting the Bachelor of Interior Design course as Coordinator and lecturer.
A strong connector within the interiors industry, Jenni has been involved in designing rooms for display at Villa Alba, the Lighthouse Foundation, Designex, Decor + Design and Grand Designs Australia, as well as presenting seminars and workshops. Membership on industry advisory committees both at RMIT and Collarts for many years, ensures the collaboration of industry in her teaching.
