Maurizio Salvati was born in Rome, Italy and moved to Australia in 1991, and has been teaching photography since 2001.
Although education is his main activity he also specialises in street and documentary photography, working on various personal and collaborative projects. Maurizio holds a Diploma of Applied Photography a Bachelor of Arts in Photomedia from and is currently undertaking a Master of Creative Industry.
