Program Coordinator
Reena Iyer is an Architectural Designer with over 21 years of professional experience, having worked as an Architect and taught in three continents across the globe. During this period she has had the opportunity to work in the United States as a senior architectural designer, run an architectural and interior design practice with her partner in India and being an integral part of the design team at a leading Melbourne design studio, specialising in high-end homes.
Pursuing her passion for sustainability, Reena completed her Masters Degree in Architecture in Colorado, USA with a focus on environmental design. During this time, she was a part of an award winning team that designed and built a zero carbon footprint home. Later, her design firm was amongst the initial members of the Green Building Council in India and she was an active participant in the steering committee for policy writing.
She has always been very passionate about sharing her experience and with over 12 years of experience in teaching design, she is very excited to be teaching at degree level and giving back to the design community.
