Jess Carroll is an educator, researcher and communications professional. She has worked within the entertainment industry with commercial clients, artists, independent labels, brands, not-for-profits, government and community organisations in communicating and presenting projects to the public.
Beginning her career as a music manager, Jess developed a global perspective through international export opportunities with her management roster. She then focused her attention on developing and promoting music, events and artists to the Australian public.
Across her 15 year career, Jess has worked with the Falls Festival, Mushroom Creative, Victorian Government, Music Victoria, Nandos, Melbourne French Theatre, CLIPPED Music Video Festival and on campaigns with a diverse selection of artists. Specialising in custom made strategies for events, brands and artists, Jess has succeeded in placing her artists on top-tier international and national publications.
She has a Masters of Teaching from the University of Melbourne and is completing research studying music exports and the cultural and creative economy of France. Jess is a member of Music & Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA), Music Victoria, Regional Arts Victoria and the Association of Artist Managers (AAM).
