Jason Torrens (Program Leader)

Jason is a Pro Tools Certified 310M Expert with an AVID ACSR 400 qualification, Bachelor Degree in Applied Music/Audio Production, a Grad. Cert. in Learning & Teaching (HE) and is currently completing his Masters of Education. As the owner and manager of Debasement Recording Studios, JT has worked with clients from Bodyjar, You Am I, Slipknot and hundreds more. He has been an in-demand drummer and teacher since the early 1990's and has played drums with dozens of artists like 28 Days and Bugdust.

Steeve Body (Program Coordinator)

Steeve is a screen composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, record producer, engineer, and educator with over 20 years of experience in the Australian music and film industries. He has worked with globally renowned artists like De La Soul, The Sweet Inspirations, Seal, Yothu Yindi, Tim Freedman, Eskimo Joe, Gabriella Cilmi, and more. Steeve owned and operated Limestone Studios in Sydney for over 7 years and worked as a producer at Studio 301 before moving to Melbourne in 2016.

Brett Langsford (Program Coordinator)

Brett has worked in the music industry for over 20 years as a composer, performer, recording artist and producer. He is the managing director and owner of Hello Daydreamer studio, where he runs an artist in residency program that supports emerging artist in the creation of new work. Brett is also an experienced educator and curriculum designer with a passion for inclusive education.

Elliott Folvig (Program Coordinator)

Elliott has performed nationally and internationally, as an acoustic and electric guitarist, composer, arranger, and bandleader. His musical journey includes roles as a recording artist, solo improvised guitar performer, and numerous bands such as The Fallingwater Jazz trio, Brindled Hound celtic ensemble, Nandi Indian fusion group, Wurlitzer the Turtle world music ensemble, and many others as a session player.

Tommy Rando (Program Leader)

Tommy Rando is a number one ARIA Award-winning songwriter and producer with over 25 years of extensive experience in creative arts practice, including performance, production, composition and songwriting. Tommy is a professional educator and received a Master in Fine Arts (Production) from Melbourne University. Recently, he graduated with honours, receiving a graduate certificate in music production and recording from Berklee College in the USA.
