Amanda Shaw

Reception and Registrar Assistant

Amanda is the first face you’ll see when you enter the South Melbourne campus. Happy to help with any questions you have and direct you to the right people, she is here to spread the Collarts’ vibe with good tunes and lollies.

Amanda has enjoyed music from a young age, influenced by her English parent’s obsession for 60 and 70s UK rock n roll (her Dad) and 70s folk and 60s soul (her Mum). A dancer from four years old, Amanda has always had rhythm but is pretty useless with a musical instrument- a great disappointment to her Year 6 Piano teacher. Originally from Adelaide (and proud of it), Amanda moved over for a change in lifestyle and to experience the awesome music and social scene of Melbourne.

Her experience is pretty varied from fashion and events to travel. With a Bachelor degree in Film and Literature, she ventured into communications for a while in between travelling around the world. If she isn’t talking to you about the campus and your classes, then it will be about music, travelling and her dog Boo Radley.
