Marcia Howard hails from the legendary local music family, the Howard family. She has worked with some of the world’s best musicians including Mary Black, Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, Brian Kennedy, James Taylor, Peter Allen, Hothouse Flowers, The Goanna Band and The Chieftans to name a few. Marcia has also toured and recorded with many Australian artists such as Bart Willoughby, Patricia Clarke and Brett Clarke.
As well as being a triple Aria-Award winner (as part of Goanna Band), Marcia’s vocals have featured on numerous albums recorded in Australia over the past thirty years. She is an accomplished singer, pianist, guitarist and vocal director who continues to perform at festivals and concerts around Australia, England, Ireland and America.
Over the past seventeen years Marcia has worked in music education, combining her industry recording, song writing and business skills to teach students at primary, secondary, VET and tertiary levels. She also recently completed her Research Masters Thesis, at Monash University.
