Careers Practitioner Information Hub

We offer a range of Music-focused workshops for students. Music Performance encompasses both ensemble and recording workshops in our state-of-the-art facilities and studios. We also provide industry-standard software workshops, including Ableton Live for Music Production and Pro Tools for Audio Production.

Get immersed in illustration and digital creativity with a variety of ‘Vis Com’ workshops. Interior Design students can create their own elements within virtual interior spaces using VR headsets. For Graphic & Digital Design, students can create logos for a business venture or a heavenly geometric Mandala.

Engage in multiple areas of the Fashion industry with either a Fashion & Sustainability or Fashion Marketing workshop. In our Fashion & Sustainability design workshops, students will get hands-on, upcycling clothing and accessories, natural fabric dyeing or garment styling. In our Fashion Marketing workshops, students can explore creating fashion flatlays and take part in Canva branding workshops.

Young budding performers can dive deeper into the art of improvisation and learn how to trust their instincts through scenes and scenarios by participating in fun theatre exercises. For the class clowns, students learn how to create humorous characters by creating physical characterisations and exaggerated personality traits.

Explore the exciting world of character drawing and 2D Animation. Students will learn improvised drawing methods and make them dance through a combination of artistic techniques and media design. 3D Animators will get an introduction to Autodesk Maya software as well as the opportunity to get collaborative and design a board game in under an hour.

Students who are passionate about film and screen can learn how to create a short film on their smartphone, learn three-point lighting techniques, practise storyboarding as well as get to grips with tools and tips for filming an interview or documentary in our film studio. Photography students can master how to set-up their own studio with artificial light or learn how to work with natural light for landscape or portraiture in any location.
